Biography
GERARD RADIO (Gerardo Pachón Fonseca) is a Colombian DJ and producer born in Bogotá in 1968. He has been recognized as one of the founders of the electronic music scene in Colombia, being the creator of the first club of this genre: CINEMA, which operated from 1990 to 2010.
During these 20 years, CINEMA remained the leader of electronic music clubs, receiving an innumerable amount of international artists, which encouraged creativity and served as inspiration for those who have contributed to the creation of a solid, globally recognized Colombian scene.
Subsequently, he founded 3 other important clubs that opened their doors for several years: Salón Continental, Lov, and Octava; the latter is currently active, but from which he disassociated his partnership.
